The Next Board Meeting . . .
 
. . . will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 1 p.m.. at the BLM Field Office in Socorro, NM.
This is a regular Board Meeting.  All members are encouraged to attend. 
 
Minutes of the last meeting, and agenda for the above meeting, will be emailed to all board members prior to the meeting.
 
If you have an item for discussion to be added to the agenda, or have not received the meeting minutes or meeting agendas, contact Lorraine Archuleta, Secretary.
 
TheBLM (Bureau of Land Management) office is located on the south side of Socorro near the I-25 south exit. It is located just south of Motel 6 and across the street (US 85) from Arby's.  It is a large, pueblo style building.  The meeting will be held in the BLM conference room.

Past Events and Special activities sponsored by the Foundation.
Our Charter . . .
The Foundation supports the activities and educational efforts of El Camino Real International Heritage Center.
 
The Foundation is a non-profit organization consisting of members, volunteers, 
and a board of directors committed to the preservation of the trail, support the 
outreach and educational efforts of the monument, and to share with all the
history and heritage of El Camino Real.
 
Some of the activities supported and funded by The Foundation
include:
Special events and activities at the Center (Spring Fiesta, Dia del Nino,
    Historic Forts Day, Hispanic Heritage Celebration, etc.)
Operation of the Gift Shop at the Center
Book signings, art shows, traveling exhibits, storytellers, etc. associated with the trail
Financial assistance to schools and teachers for group tours and associated activities
Period reenactments, Hispanic heritage activities, workshops
Advertising for special events and other activities, and coordination with local tourist bureaus
Support of this website
